Marjorie Blog Tour

I am so excited to be a part of the Marjorie release blog tour! I absolutely love my Marjorie dress from Hazel & Gather Pattern Company. Originally I had planned on using a print for my Marjorie, but when I realized what a staple it could be in my wardrobe, I decided to go with this pretty turquoise fabric. By going with a solid color I am easily able to change out my accessories and my Marjorie is wearable in every season.

There are so many options available in this pattern: 4 sleeve lengths, 3 necklines, 3 back options, 2 dress lengths and side seam pockets. The options I chose for my dress, were 1/4 sleeves, scoop neck and knee length. As much as I love pockets, I chose not to add them for this particular dress. I have an hour glass shape, and with this style I didn’t want to add any bulk at my hips. However, many of the testers added pockets and they all looked amazing!

Here is my “summer” look for the Marjorie dress. With my converse shoes, this dress is perfect for being both comfortable and cute in the hot summer months.

Next, I added a scarf, some leggings and changed to my wedge booties. By changing just a few things my Marjorie is ready for fall.

When the weather gets cooler, I plan to style this dress with a cardigan and a belt.

As you can see, the Marjorie dress pattern really is a great addition to your wardrobe. I plan on making the mid calf length next!
